These days, many of us are distancing ourselves from the religious institutions we grew up in–or perhaps just haven’t found the right fit in our adult lives. This lack of ritualistic gathering can sometimes lead to feelings of disconnect, leaving us craving ritual or tradition, but unsure how to accomplish that without a formal institution to facilitate it.

A Child Blessing ceremony is a special gathering intended to recognize your child as a “child of the Universe/God/Spirit/insert your deity here”—similar to a baptism or Christening, but without the affiliation of a religious institution. This ceremony will be planned in close collaboration with you, incorporating aspects from your family’s traditions, background and culture.

There are three levels to the support we can provide. If you are just looking for some background information and guidance, choose Option 1, in which we can consult with you and get you started on planning/facilitating your own ceremony. If you’d like behind-the-scenes support with planning and logistics, select Option 2. If you’d like support throughout the entire process, including day-of facilitation, Option 3 is for you.
