The Route: Because the Gateway State Trail follows a former railroad line, we'll be doing a classic out-and-back rather than a loop. We'll head north from the Highway 96 lot toward Pine Point Regional Park, walk for 30 minutes, and turn around at the Duluth Street N crossing — a perfect, easy-to-spot landmark right at the 1.5-mile mark. That puts us at 3 miles total and right around an hour of walking.
Want to keep the afternoon going? A few of us are planning to head over to Cozzie's Tavern & Grill after the walk — come join us if you'd like to extend the fun, grab a bite, and keep the conversation flowing!
Let us know if you can make it! Your RSVP automatically subscribes you to the WWW Weekly email newsletter, which will be the best place to get info about upcoming walks and last-minute details.
