11.18-11.24.2025: Nine of Pentacles, Queen of Swords, Three of Cups
Thursday's New Moon in Scorpio is ushering in some necessary—though likely uncomfortable—change. I have to share Chani's words about this Astrological moment because they are just so goddamn spot on for me and my loved ones right now and I'm willing to bet they might resonate with you too. Chani says:
"This week has zero chill — but it’s all building toward a breakthrough... Just remember that the best fresh starts can be disruptive. And sometimes the status quo needs interrupting. The Mercury cazimi the next day may surface some hard truths, but it will also help us face them. Though this moment might feel like a cold shower you didn’t ask for, it’s the wake-up call we need to make a change. Use it to set off a transformative chain reaction."
We are "building toward a breakthrough," alright—but first we must unfortunately experience the breakDOWN. If you're feeling that, you are not alone. This week's reading for the collective addresses this reality and provides a blueprint for managing the moment.
We are in a time of rapid transition. As things unfold this week, you will likely need to make a decision or two (or two hundred 🙃). Ever the "wise big sis," the Queen of Swords advises us that the best approach is a direct and honest one. Just remember: direct and honest doesn't have to mean cutting or cruel. Be decisive. Be bold. Say what you mean. But don't burn it all down in the process.
Known as "the retirement card," the Nine of Pentacles represents a transition between one phase of life and another. And inevitable as they may be, transitions can be really hard. This new beginning may find you moving away from your comfort zone, which might have you feeling... well... UNCOMFORTABLE. Remember: Comfort may feel good in the moment, but it's not always what's best for you long-term. In fact, the Comfort Zone can actually be an incredibly dangerous place to stay. If you find yourself bumping up against the edges of your comfort zone, it's likely a good sign that it's time to move on. But toxic and unhealthy as the situation may be, it is at least a familiar place. And it can be hard to leave behind the familiar for the unfamiliar, the KNOWN for the unknown.
So what will help us move forward? Community. Gathering with those in your closest circle who "get it" (whether that be face-to-face or via group chat). Finding little things to celebrate along the way. The Three of Cups wants to see you dancing and singing your way through the chaos. I've said it before and I'll say it again: we weren't meant to move through life alone. And that's especially true during tricky times of trial and transition. Find your people, lean on your people, lift up your people--and let them lift you up too. ♥
Drop a comment if you want to share about your tricky transition. We're all in this together!
