6.30-7.6.2026: Breakdowns and Breakthroughs

Whenever The Tower flies out of my hand while shuffling (as it did today), an under-the-breath exclamation of “Oh shit” escapes from my lips before I remind myself that no card in the Tarot is “all good” or “all bad.” When accompanied by The Chariot, I get a sense that this week will bring some much-needed shake-ups accompanied by changes that feel inevitable.

These cards share a numerological connection: The Chariot is number seven in the Major Arcana, and The Tower is number sixteen—which, when broken down to a single number adds up to seven (1 + 6 = 7). In numerology, the number seven is often viewed as a "wild card,” associated with unpredictable energy and temporary instability before a period of growth. Which is really the vibe these two are giving off.

As it so often does, the astrology just so happens to align freakishly well with the cards I pulled for the week. Because I am in a period of extra busy-ness and wasn’t even sure I’d be able to make time for the collective reading, I am going to go ahead and rely heavily on my girl Madi Murphy’s write-up about the Astrology for the week. You can read the whole Cosmic Rx Weekly Energy Report at this Substack link, but here are the highlights as they apply to the energy of The Tower and The Chariot. 👇🏻

“Pull up a chair, grab a snack, drink some water. This week is genuinely loaded, with five major transits stacking up across seven days, plus what follows after in mid-July has been described by astrologers (for decades) as the closing of one civilizational era and the opening of another. Sounds dramatic because it is dramatic. We are at the literal cosmic midyear, and the sky is making sure we are awake for what comes next.

However, the general vibe for this week isn’t doom, it’s attention. Today’s Capricorn Full Moon is your progress report, and Mercury stationing retrograde simultaneously is there to make sure you actually review your life rather than just plowing through it. Jupiter changes signs on Tuesday for the first time in a year, opening a 13-month cycle that will define the back half of 2026 and most of 2027. And by Saturday, Mars meets Uranus for a lightning-bolt finale on the United States’ 250th birthday, which is a piece of mundane astrology you do not have to be a chart enthusiast to find significant. Pay attention this week. The plot is thickening…

The week's lightning bolt finale lands on Saturday when Mars meets Uranus in Gemini for the first time since 2007. The energy is electric with unexpected conversations, sudden breakthroughs, ideas that arrive from nowhere and shift the trajectory of a project, a relationship, or a whole year. Pay close attention to your “ahas” this day. It’s worth noting that Mars and Uranus also have signatures for instability and sudden disruption, and this conjunction happens to fall on the United States' 250th birthday. The collective energy will be high and activated, with many people out for celebrations, so just stay aware of your surroundings. If a brilliant idea or invitation arrives in the middle of it all, capture it down, but let it sit for the weekend before acting on it.”

Totally unrelated sidenote: A library friend shared this #funfact she just stumbled upon in the Children’s book Weird But True! USA: 350 Fascinating Facts About the Fifty States.

Not sayin’... Just sayin’... 😏

And speaking of books, if you’re looking to ring in America’s 250th in the least MAGA way possible, might I suggest finding a great read with one of these booklists? ❤️🤍💙
