Walk off the August scaries

🌿Wise Womxn Walking Club: TONIGHT, 5:30pm

Can you feel it? That little flutter of "wait, is summer already ending?" energy in the air? If you've been feeling a low hum of anxiety these past few weeks, you're not alone — and there's actually a name for it. Even those of us years (or decades) removed from a classroom still feel that back-to-school pull each August: the shift in light, the itch to plan, the pressure to have it all figured out before fall hits.

Our friend Kamila over at Achelois wrote a beautiful post on this last week — normalizing the August anxiety spiral and sharing some real, doable ways to care for yourself as we move into this next season. If you haven't seen it yet, give it a read here. Consider it required pre-walk reading.

Because here's the thing: transitions are so much easier when we don't move through them alone. That's exactly why we show up for Walking Club — to build a rhythm of community we can lean on, season after season.

Join us TONIGHT at 5:30pm. We'll meet at the Lift Bridge for our group photo, then head out together onto Brown's Creek Trail. Come with a friend, come with your whole crew, or — just as welcome — come solo. So many of our Wise Womxn show up on their own and leave with new friends. This is exactly the kind of place that's meant to happen.

 📍Meeting spot: Lift Bridge
 🕧Time: 5:30pm TONIGHT
 🥾Route: Brown's Creek Trail

See you there, Wise Womxn.

If you've come out to Walking Club and felt that sense of community — the kind where you show up not knowing anyone and leave with new friends — we'd be so grateful if you'd share that with a quick Google review.

It takes two minutes and helps other Wise Womxn find us when they're searching for exactly the kind of connection you found.
