8.25-8.31.2026: When one door closes
Pro tip: save this photo and set it as your background image to keep the collective message fresh in your mind all week.✨
This week’s Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Pisces marks the end of the energetic portal we’ve collectively found ourselves in for most of August. If you’ve been following along for awhile, you know I’m not a fan of doom-and-gloom Astrology (or Tarot, for that matter!). And just like any one card in the Tarot, Eclipses aren’t “all good” or “all bad.” That being said, I couldn’t help but make note of how destabilizing this particular Astrological moment has been—and my guess is that you’ve likely experienced some degree of disorientation these past few weeks yourself.
Well I’m here to share that the light at the end of this particular tunnel is in sight (phew!). At 4º Pisces, Friday’s Full Moon connects to the Eight of Cups—a card that is associated with moving on and starting over anew. Quite a fitting theme, considering we are “closing the door” on the portal and releasing what no longer serves us with the energy of the Full Moon.
So my question for the cards today was simple: Which Tarot Teacher will help us release, let go, and move on? Their response? The Two of Cups.
You know what’s kinda freaky? This is the very same card I received just two weeks ago when I asked which Tarot Teacher would be supporting us through the Eclipse portal. 🫨
So I hope you won’t mind me as I just go ahead and Copy/Paste what I wrote two weeks ago, because apparently it bears repeating:
“Two of Cups helps us to notice what’s out of balance and identify what might bring things back into harmony. It invites us to find common ground, to see the humanity in another, and to share our feelings and experiences with the goal of fostering a deeper connection that serves both parties equally. It helps us to see eye-to-eye, to work together towards goals, to give and take in equal exchange. To let down the walls of our heart with someone we can trust completely.”
The quote above has me thinking about the concept of coregulation (as opposed to its unhealthy counterpart, codependence). This week is about recalibrating, finding equilibrium after the wonkiness of the last few weeks—whether that be through implementing self-regulation strategies, coregulating alongside a trusted loved one, or some combination of the two. You may not yet be ready to process whatever shifts have happened for you, and that’s okay. But one thing is clear: a “nervous system reset” is in order.

I so enjoyed providing Personal Eclipse messages for those of you who felt called to dig deeper into the energy last week. In fact, I loved it so much that I’m excited to announce a new offering… next week!
