9.30-10.6.2025: Expand, The World, & The Sun

This week, we are invited to explore EXPANSIVENESS.

Expand your awareness. Expand your worldview. Expand your expectations. Expand your reach. Give yourself permission to unapologetically take up space—both physically and metaphorically.

We are supported in this work by two cards from the Major Arcana that, to me, embody this sense of expansiveness: The World (XXI) and The Sun (XIX). For starters, we can take a literal approach and consider the physically massive planetary bodies these cards represent: The Earth and the source of life it revolves around, The Sun. The cyclical nature of life is part of this week’s message. Something may be coming full circle for you this week, or coming to a tidy (or not-so-tidy) end. But as we know, endings always lead to new beginnings. And so the cycle continues.

Whenever we have cards from the Major Arcana, we know that we are talking about larger, overarching themes (think CLIMATE vs. weather): Closure and the beginning of something new. Starting over again, perhaps with a fresh understanding.

Allow yourself to crack open in the best way possible as you complete this cycle and unfurl into the next iteration. A healthy dose of unfettered optimism and childlike joy will help us expand gracefully and with intention. I say this while knowing full well that accessing “unfettered optimism and childlike joy” can feel like a Herculean feat these days. But echoing our message from a few weeks ago, if we are to create any change or positive momentum, we must let joy lead us through the portal.
