10.14-10.20.2025: Page of Cups, Four of Wands, Eight of Cups
You can never walk away from the home you create within yourself.
I sent an email to myself with these words after pulling the cards for today’s collective reading, to make sure I didn’t lose track of the intuitive thread when I went to sit down and write the message later. Shortly after, I got in my car, tuned in to my usual MPR station (89.3 The Current) and heard these words coming from my speaker:
"Know who I am, that's important to me
Do what I can to see the wood from the trees
Know who I am, that's important to me
Let the branches wrap their arms around me
I could just wander, always like a leaf on the southeast breeze
I do not need no rooting, I carry home with me."
— from “White Horses” by Wolf Alice
Instant chills when the Universe confirms that your intuitive hit was spot on.
So this week, we deal with themes of: leaving the familiar behind, striking out on your own, creating a safe space within yourself, KNOWING yourself and what it is that you want, trusting yourself and your unique journey (even if you don’t have all the answers yet).
The Eight of Cups encourages you to follow the call of your intuition, even if it means leaving behind something you worked really hard to build—even if you’ve invested a lot of emotional energy into that something (or someONE).
The Page of Cups asks you to let go of imposter syndrome when it comes to who you are, what you want, and how you feel. If you’ve been playing small, or playing down your feelings, now is the time to stand up and say “Actually, NO—that thing DID bother me” or “I actually DON’T need time to think about this. My answer is (x/y/z).” Take ownership of your feelings and step into your power. Another wink from the Universe: The New Moon in Libra coming up on October 21st just so happens to be associated with this card. Use the “reset button” energy of the New Moon to set new intentions around advocating for yourself and your feelings.
And for our central card, this week—the Four of Wands invites you to EMBODY HOME. Be the safe space you wish you had growing up. Envelop yourself in the comfort of knowing you always have a home within yourself. No matter where life takes you or what you willingly or unwillingly leave behind, you can never walk away from the home you create within yourself. Like a feisty little hermit crab, you carry your home with you.
Go forth, lil’ hermit crabs! 🥹
