10.28-11.3.2025: King of Wands, Ace of Cups, Page of Pentacles
This week, we are encouraged to seek out a community of learners. The Page of Pentacles invites you to surround yourself with people who crave information—about the world, about themselves. Immerse yourself in a new experience this week. Enroll in a pottery class. Attend a webinar. Join a walking club. Experiment with moving your body in a new way. Bonus points if you seek out others who are excited to be a beginner right along with you.
The Ace of Cups supports us in this endeavor. Aces are all about new beginnings and Cups are connected to matters of the heart. So what might it look like to embody the energy of the Ace of Cups? Words that come to mind for me include: compassionate, open-hearted, loving, and vulnerable. Being emotionally vulnerable and opening yourself up to giving and receiving love is all well and good, but not at the expense of your well-being. The Ace of Cups sets the tone for a safe and nurturing environment, not one in which you are required to abandon yourself or your values in order to gain access.
Be wary of anyone who claims to have all the answers. Distance yourself from the over-confident know-it-alls, even if their presence is captivating and their flashy message catches your attention (lookin’ at you, King of Wands!). Most of us can probably bring to mind a social media influencer who is so convincing that they could quite literally get you to buy a gallon of snake oil—and probably even persuade you to subscribe to receive it on the monthly! That’s the energy you are advised to distance yourself from this week. If you feel yourself being drawn towards a charismatic leader this week, you are asked to pause and examine what it is about them and their message that is so captivating. Don’t let yourself be sucked in by the money-hungry algorithm.
Following the guidance of these Tarot Teachers, our assignment this week is to approach each interaction with an open heart and a healthy dose of curiosity (and watch out for those false idols!).
