Practicing what I preach

Walk + Talks are in full swing in Stillwater! Last week I had the pleasure of getting to know a few new clients and exploring the beauty that is the St. Croix River Valley. I feel so fortunate to get to do the work I love, explore this beautiful area, and on top of it all—get some movement and fresh air in. I’m always preaching the benefits of walking for mental wellness, but for some reason I was still surprised at how good I felt after these sessions.

My energy, mood, and productivity were noticeably impacted for the remainder of the day. I made good headway on my seemingly never-ending to-do list, felt more present and calm when it was time to pick up my girls, and even banged out a few e-mails that have been left “un-read” for an embarrassingly long time.
